Solutions by Computer Introduces SaaS Version of Enfinity Rental System

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – November 16, 2009 – Solutions by Computer, a leading provider of rental business management software for nearly three decades, has announced the introduction of Enfinity® SaaS, the "Software as a Service" offering of its flagship Enfinity rental management system on Windows®.

SaaS deployment, also known as hosted software, gives customers access to Enfinity’s robust range of rental applications and related integrations, delivered over the Internet as a service. The processor that runs Enfinity is located at Solutions by Computer, where it is secured and maintained. Enfinity SaaS can dramatically reduce a rental company’s upfront costs and eliminate the need for a system manager in large operations. In addition, repetitive maintenance tasks such as data archiving are handled automatically.

"With Enfinity SaaS, the on-screen software at the rental counter and the database both reside at Solutions, but it is as seamless as if the server were in the same room," Shea said.

Key functionality of Enfinity includes intuitive tracking and processing of rentals, sales, reservations, quotations, service scheduling, delivery routing and customer relationship management. Additionally, Enfinity can give a rental company’s customers the option of accessing account information and reserving rentals through a secure Internet portal.
