SOLUTIONS BY COMPUTER EARNS NATIONAL RECOGNITION FOR ITS ENFINITY® COMPUTER SYSTEM
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - February 14, 2005 - Solutions by Computer, Inc., the North American market leader in rental business computerization, has been awarded national recognition for its new Enfinity® computer system by the American Rental Association (ARA).
Solutions by Computer executives were on hand when the Windows® -based Enfinity system was honored during ceremonies at the ARA's New Product Spotlight reception in Las Vegas on February 14, 2005. The product competition was introduced by the ARA "to distinguish the best new offerings in all exhibit categories" at its national convention, The Rental Show. The reception was held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center prior to the start of the show, which is the largest rental trade show in the world.
Solutions by Computer unveiled the Enfinity system at The Rental Show after a four-year software development effort, according to Jack Shea, president, Solutions by Computer. The company's flagship UNIX® -based system, CounterPro®, has been the leading choice of rental businesses in North America for more than two decades. "Every stage of the Enfinity development effort has benefited from the knowledge that the Solutions team gained in developing two prior, highly successful systems over 25 years," said Shea.
